School Counselor

THE PHILOSOPHY OF A SCHOOL COUNSELOR:

A school counselor is an integral part of the entire educational program and is important to every student's academic success.  It is preventative and proactive in nature and designed to reach all students.  Classroom lessons are taught by the Counselor on a variety of topics. Through the collaborative efforts of counselors, teachers, support professionals, administrators, and  parents, the program promotes self-understanding, understanding of others, and the full use of one's potential, providing all students with a nurturing environment that allows them to get the most of their school experiences.
